Invest In Your Child

Sunset Middle has set high educational standards for our children. In order to make sure this is met, it is necessary for us to work together to provide additional funding to supplement what the district provides each school – especially since this is our first full year! We have set an estimated fundraising goal of $50,000 this year which is approximately $100 per child.

We are planning on having Invest In Your Child be the main fundraiser for the 2006/2007 school year. However, the higher the response the fewer the fundraisers we will have.

Here is how Invest In Your Child works:

You may choose to write a one-time check for $100
You may elect to send in monthly payments

However you choose to contribute and in whatever amount, be assured that your tax deductible donations will be used to enrich your child’s learning experience this year. We are working with Mr. Pearson and his staff to identify and prioritize educational needs and requirements and we will be sharing with everyone how the dollars are spent.

Please make your check payable to Sunset Middle PTO and return to the school as soon as possible. The sooner you contribute to any of our fundraising efforts, the sooner we can put these dollars to work for your child! Also, some companies offer matching funds programs so please make sure to check to see if your employer matches educational contributions. Every dollar is so important!
