Ann Trubey is
originally from Alton, Illinois.
She earned her bachelor’s degree in
Elementary Education from Andrews
University in Berrien Springs,
Michigan in 1987, and her M.Ed. in
Reading from Kutztown University in
Kutztown, Pennsylvania in 1995.
Since then she has taught first
through fourth grades, and has been
here at Trinity since 1992. She
loves to teach, especially when
children get excited about reading.
She and her husband Jeff have two
daughters—Sophie is a 6th
grader at Heritage Middle School and
Emma is four; they hope to travel to
China to adopt a third child in
2009. Mrs. Trubey loves
spending time with her family
including her two very spoiled
golden retrievers Abby and Shadow,
and she enjoys reading, photography,
scrapbooking, and music.
