Gretchen Killingbeck - 1st grade teacher

Welcome to 1st grade!  Mrs. Killingbeck is so excited to be teaching your children!  She hopes to make this one of the best years of your child’s education.  You are going to learn A LOT and have fun!
Mrs. Killingbeck was born in Chattanooga, TN and grew up in Nashville.  She received her degree in Early Childhood Education at Brigham Young University in Utah.  From there, she and her husband moved to Georgia where he attended school and she taught.  This past year, her husband finished school in London, England and then they settled down in Franklin.  This will be her sixth year teaching.  She has taught both first and second grade…and she is excited to be in first grade at Trinity!
Ms. Killingbeck says her best friend is my husband, Seth.  They have been married a little over 5 years.  Seth works as an attorney in downtown Nashville.  He loves helping out at school when he has time, so you will probably see him around.
There are a lot of things Mrs. Killingbeck likes to do.  Her immediate family lives in Nashville, so she loves spending time with them.  She also loves cooking, shopping, reading, making jewelry, and being active at church.  Most of all, she wants us all to know that she loves teaching!
