Jessica Corn has a BS in Early
Childhood Development from Middle Tennessee State
University. She completed her Master’s degree from
Walden University in June of 2009. Her master’s is
in Curriculum, Instruction and Assessment. This is
Jessica’s 5th year to teach school. Born
and raised in Shelbyville, Tennessee, she began
teaching Kindergarten at Eakin Primary. In 2006 she
moved to Franklin to teach Kindergarten at Trinity
Elementary. During this time she got engaged and
moved to Asheville North Carolina and got married to
Matthew Corn. Her husband was accepted to graduate
school at TSU to work for his doctorate in physical
therapy. They moved back to the Franklin area and
Jessica began teaching in the Pre-Kindergarten
program at Heritage Elementary for the 2007-2008 and
2008-2009 school years. She was so happy to have the
opportunity to move back into Kindergarten at
Trinity Elementary!
