Katy Williams was born north of
the Mason-Dixon line, but is proud to say she has
now spent more time south than north! She grew
up in Connecticut, just outside of New York City.
She graduated from Vanderbilt University in 1989 and
has stayed south since.
Mrs. Williams taught Kindergarten
for a year before becoming a 3rd grade teacher in
Gwinnett County, Georgia. After 4 years, she
became the school's computer lab teacher. She took a
break from teaching in 1997 to move to the Franklin
area and worked in education computer sales for
Apple Computer. This is where she met her husband,
Troy.
Mrs. Williams returned to
education in 2003, teaching 3rd grade at Bethesda
Elementary School in Williamson County. She is
excited to have the opportunity to join the Trinity
team this year.
Mrs. Williams has a 4 year old
son named Drew who should be coming to Trinity's
kindergarten in the 2010-2011 school year. The
family has 2 dogs (Sydney and Lily) and 2 cats
(Bluebell and Pinkerbell).
