My name is MacKenzie Riggs and I am so excited to begin my first full year of teaching Kindergarten at Trinity! I grew up in Merced, California and moved to Nashville to complete my undergraduate degree in Early Childhood Education and Spanish at Vanderbilt. During my time at Vandy, I spent a year abroad learning Spanish in Chile and Argentina. I made the decision to continue my studies at Vanderbilt and earned my master's degree this past December in Special Education. In the spring I had the wonderful opportunity to serve as an interim Kindergarten teacher at Trinity. I love to travel, run, and spend time with family and friends. I am looking forward to a great 2009-2010 school year!
