Dear
Trinity Family,
I have been
involved in
educating children –
from elementary
level students
through high school
since 1971. Most of
my career has been
as a music teacher,
but presently I am
Assistant Principal
at Trinity.
Although music is a
true passion for me,
I have found it to
be very exciting to
work with parents
and teachers in
striving for the
complete education
of our children.
Originally from
East Tennessee, I
have taught in
Louisville,
Kentucky, Coco
Beach, Florida,
Nashville, and
Franklin,
Tennessee. My
husband is on the
music faculty at
Belmont University
and teaches music
history. My
daughter, Sylvia, is
finishing up her
doctorate in organic
chemistry at Georgia
Tech and my son,
James, works at BMI
on music row in
Nashville. I have a
wonderful grandson,
Wilson, who gives
our family great
joy.
I hope that you
have found Trinity
to be a caring
school. Our
attention is focused
on the complete
child, assisting and
guiding every
student to be
his/her best
academically,
socially, and
emotionally. We
hold positive
character traits in
high standing and
encourage students,
teachers, and staff
to model these
traits.
We have a
wonderful staff who
believes in the
goals and mission of
our school. They
are a joy to work
with and daily show
to us and to their
students their
passion for what
they do.
The
administration and
staff of Trinity are
here to assist you
in any way that we
can.
Marilyn Shadinger,
Assistant Principal
