Give your child a head start!

Here are some helpful tips to get ready for school.

·       Read to your child every day.  (For FREE books register your child at http://www.imaginationlibrary.com/ )

·       Name colors.

·       Read and say their whole name. (first, middle, and last)

·       Know personal information (birthday, address, phone number)

·       Know self help skills (can button, zip, tie)

·       ABC’s (sing, name, find in words and signs)

·       Say nursery rhymes.

·       Use scissors to cut a line.

·       Holds a book and turns pages correctly.

·       Name and count numbers from 1 to 10.

·       Know their shapes. (circle, square, triangle)

·       Retell a familiar story.
