The
annual Rock ‘n’ Roll Read-a-thon is our principal’s primary fundraiser.
The Read-a-thon raises money each year to purchase items not normally
funded by the school district. The proceeds from this year’s event will
be used to purchase a new marquee for the front of the school, install
an asphalt running rack, specific technology needs,
instructional/curriculum materials as recommended by the school district
and other needs identified by the Building Leadership Team.
Common Pledge Calculations This year's goal is $22,000! Every nickel counts!
* Each $10 pledge earns one "chance" in the PRIZE DRAWING. There will be 3
additional prizes per grade level awarded at the prize drawing. All collections are due by noon Friday March 7th. This deadline will be used
to determine prize winners and order T-shirts. Featured Read-A-Thon Activities: Author and Illustrator Visit: Tammy

Parents, if you are planning to attend any or all of these activities there are some things you need to know. 1. Parking is a ZOO on this day - be forewarned! DO NOT PARK IN THE BUS LANES AT ANY TIME! Buses will run at 3:30 and again at 5:00. Keep the car rider lane clear until the Kindergarten dismissal at 3:30. 2. Please remember that the day's activities are focused on the students of Walnut Grove. Parents are encouraged to join in the fun. In the interest if safety, however, you are asked to find alternative care for younger siblings. Older siblings who have already had their fun at Rock 'n' Roll Read-a-thon are asked to avoid visiting school on this hectic day. Master Schedule:
