Jim Heacock has taught for seven years at Walnut Grove. Prior to coming to Tennessee he taught middle school science for eight years in San Bernardino, CA. Jim’s wife, Nancy, teaches in the School of Physical Therapy at Belmont University. Jim and Nancy have three kids: Jonathan, a senior and Franklin High; Ben, a sophomore at Franklin High; and Sarah, a 6^th grader at Grassland Middle School. They’re great kids, and Jim and Nancy are very proud of them. Jim is active with a Scout Troop. He enjoys reading, backpacking, hiking, camping, canoeing, and other outdoor activities. He loves teaching 5^th grade!
