Kathy has been member of the Walnut Grove Staff since 1993, where she has taught fifth grade for her entire teaching career.  Before teaching here, she stayed at home to raise four children. All of her children were lucky enough to go through the Walnut Grove/Grassland system. So she has been involved with this school and community for twenty-two years.  She and her husband, Rick, have lived in Franklin since 1985.   Mrs. Wimberly grew up as an Air Force “brat” and traveled through most of her childhood.  She was glad to make Franklin, TN home.  She enjoys reading, painting, and boating in her spare time.
