Mrs. Rister is excited to be in her second year of teaching at Walnut Grove! She is from the small town of Crestwood, Kentucky right outside of Louisville. Mrs. Rister graduated from Murray State University where she received her Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education. She decided to get married during her first year of teaching! It proved to be a very rewarding challenge. Her new husband Derek is an electromechanical engineer in Nashville. Mrs. Rister enjoys reading, baking, scrapbooking, singing, and playing with her puppy Bea in her spare time. She feels fortunate to be doing what she loves every day!
