Announcements

The 2012 golf season was very exciting this year. Golfers improved their individual scores with every match. The course at Spencer Creek was challenging yet fun. We look forward to improving as a team next season. Coach Morelli encourages all potential golfers to practice over the summer and be ready for the 2013 season. Please try to participate in the clinics and tournament this summer. Information is shown above. Good luck Golfers.

Golfers must have your set of clubs, know the rules of golf, and play on a fairly regular basis. Of course the talent varies from year to year - but generally speaking - boys who are on the varsity shoot in the range of par to mid-40's. The girls' range is a bit greater sometimes going into the low 50's. For the past few years we have not had a JV due to no place to play. DRESS: (for regular matches) You must wear the WMS golf shirt and appropriate shorts, pants , or skirts(ladies). NO JEANS!

Your grades must be acceptable as well as your behavior in classes and anywhere you represent Woodland Middle School. Any display of disrespect to coaches, players, or Spencer Creek staff will not be tolerated.

BE SURE YOU HAVE A PHYSICAL FORM/PARENTAL CONSENT FORM ON FILE: YOU CANNOT TRYOUT UNLESS YOUR PHYSICAL IS IN COMPLIANCE. CHECK WITH THE OFFICE OR ATHLETIC DIRECTOR IF YOU HAVE QUESTIONS.
