2012 Varsity Team:
The lady warrior volleyball team ended the season with an impressive 13-9 record.  The team started off the season with key wins over Sunset and Spring Station.  The girls played in two tournaments this season at BGA and Spring Station.  The lady warriors pulled of key wins at the BGA tournament against Harpeth Hall, Siegel, and Popular Grove. The girls fell short in the championship game to Brentwood.  The Spring Station tournament was a great confidence booster.  The ladies had key wins against Spring Station, Heritage, and Davidson Academy.  Once again the ladies made it to the finals against Brentwood but fell short to earn another 2nd place plaque.  The end of the season ended early in the first round to Freedom in the WMAA tournament

2012 JV Team:
The Woodland JV Volleyball team had a season of ups and downs, but overall it was an amazing season.  At the beginning the team had to make a few adjustments, but in the end all worked for the best.  We did not have the best record, but it's mine and the team’s opinion, it was a huge success.  We learned how to work together as a team rather than individuals.  And to us, that’s the most important lesson.  We went through several position changes throughout the season, and these worked well, as we picked each other up and supported each other no matter what.  Another reason we were able to adjust well was because of Coach Traub.  He was a great coach because he knew every one of us.  He was hard on us, but knew how hard was enough, and without him, the season would not have been half of the amazing season it was.

Overall the JV Lady Warriors volleyball team had an amazing and very successful season.  Oh, and to top it all off, we beat Brentwood in the tournament!

2012 6th Grade Team:
The 6th grade team ended the season with a record of 9-3. We had a lot of successful wins and although it was challenging at the beginning, everyone improved a lot. We were a good group of girls and athletes and had a lot of fun. Our team had a GREAT coach. We all look forward to playing next year. It was a very exciting season.
