Math Team

The Woodland Algebra and
Geometry Math Teams will have four contests associated with
the Interscholastic Math League. They will compete against
other middle and high school teams in Williamson and
Davidson County. Math Teams will also compete each year at
the State High School Competition on the David Lipscomb
Campus and at Middle Tennessee State University for the
Middle School State competition. In addition to these
contests, 6th through 8th grade
students may also choose to participate in the American Math
Competition (AMC) in the fall and the Math Counts
Competition, at the school level, held in January.
Finalists of these competitions may advance to local, state
and national competitions.
