Woodland Middle School Art at the Frist

Six Artists from Woodland Art classes have artworks which will be shown at the Frist Center for the Visual Arts in the Annual Williamson county Student Art Show.  These artists were chosen not just for their artistic skills but also for their dedication to their study of art. Each one of these students consistently goes beyond the norm in the art  class.  Sixth graders,  Meredith Lutzak and Austin Chitwood, showed some outstanding drawing skills.  Seventh graders, Rainey Massey and John Smalley, showed some great artistic ability in their printmaking projects.  Our eighth graders, Roja Budati and Paine Leffler, demonstrated a sound understanding of the use of color and design in their pieces.
