S.T.A.M.P. Out Bullying

An anti-bullying program that uses the S.T.A.M.P. acronym, teaching kids how to deal with bullying situations.

S.T.A.R.S. (Students Taking A Right Stand) had Jay Banks, creator of the nationally-acclaimed program “Stamp out Bullying” present his show at Woodland to three different grade–level assemblies.  The first part of his program was on student responsibility; especially as it relates to personal hygiene and having a positive attitude each day when they come to school.  The second part of the program Jay used the acronym S.T.A.M.P. to help students with practical and real life examples of how to handle bullies and avoid violence in our school.  It was a very entertaining program laced with music, dancing, real-life examples and role models to help both students and faculty have a healthy and safe environment at Woodland Middle school.  Students received stickers (shown above) as a reminder and Chick-fil-A sponsored free coupons for everyone in attendance.  Middle Tennessee Electric Membership Corporation and it's Operation Round-up sponsored Jay Banks presentations. Thank you Chick-fil-A, MTEMC and Jay Banks!
