Beautiful Murals Now Adorn the Walls of the
Library Thanks to David Wariner, a Parent, and Amy Reader of MasterPiece Murals.
MISSION: The mission of the Woodland Middle School library media center
is to provide all students with daily access to a variety of resources (print, non-print,
electronic, and online formats) which correlate with the curriculum and allow students to
become lifelong, independent readers and users.

Dedicate a Book!
Help Woodland's library and dedicate a book!
Would you like to honor someone
special and, at the same time, make the library at Woodland one of the best? Book
dedications are a wonderful way to remember a child's birthday, surprise a friend, honor
that influential teacher, or remember those loved ones whom we have lost.
Book dedications are simple. Click on the button below and fill
out the form.
Once the form is completed, return it to WMS with
a $20 donation. A specially-designed Woodland book
plate will be placed in
the front of the book. Dedication lists are also published
in the PTO newsletter as they are received.
WMS BOOK FAIR
We will have a winter and spring book fair this year. The winter fair will
be held December 6-10 in the library from 7:30-3:00. Family Night will be
Thursday, December 9 in conjunction with the WMS Band Concert and Silent
Auction. The time will be announced soon. This is a great way to
begin or wrap up shopping for the upcoming holidays! The spring book fair
is tentatively planned to be an online book fair. The spring book fair is
a good opportunity for students to purchase summer reading materials while
supporting the school. Thanks to Jennifer Dockendorff for all of the work
she has already put into the preparations for the book fairs. Please
contact Jennifer
minadance1@yahoo.com if you would like to volunteer to help
with either book fair.
WMS Scrapbook
Woodland's history is kept in the form of a scrapbook which is located in
the library. If your Woodland Warrior receives an honor that is NOT in the
newspaper, please send a picture and write up to Ms. Anderson in the library so it can
be included in the 2004-2005 scrapbook.
