My name is Mallory Yerger and I have been the music teacher at Winstead  Elementary since its first year in 2002.  The Music Department at Winstead focuses on creating a fun loving atmosphere where students experience music through singing, playing instruments, moving to music, and performing.  I believe every child is musical and can develop their unique expression of music.  Music is all around us and can enhance our lives forever.  Students at Winstead also listen to musical works from the great composers including some of our very own Nashville artists.  They study instruments of the orchestra and even create their own musical compositions in the classroom.  Please see my website (currently under construction) to find out the latest news and performance information.
