Walk Across Williamson (WxW) is a joint effort between the Williamson County and Franklin Special school systems, the WC health department and the WC health council. This is an endeavor to promote a family fun and healthy activity. Participants log their activity minutes on the days they are active during the month of March. Logs are available in hard copy form. These forms can be filled out and turned in to your schools team leader.

Contest details will be made available at the kick-off event as well as being posted on this web site. The participating park(s) are listed on the Information Flyer link. If unable to attend or time is missed during a month, feel free to join up and/or participate at any time. Some is always better than none and WxW is designed with that purpose in mind.

An event to celebrate the completion of Walk Across Williamson is scheduled Saturday, April 9, from 9 a.m. until 10 a.m. at Brentwood Library, Fairview Recreation Center, Pinkerton Park in Franklin, Nolensville Elementary School and Longview Recreation Center in Spring Hill. Each celebration will include a fitness demonstration, a one mile walk, giveaways and drawings for prizes. Participants must be present to win.
