FHS Spring College & Career Fair. Thursday, March 7, 2024, in the FHS Commons from 5:00 – 6:30 PM. Colleges, military, and trade schools will be in attendance to answer questions. Some of the schools that plan to attend are UAB, UT Knoxville, Chattanooga and Martin, MTSU, Columbia State, Lipscomb, Mississippi, TN Tech, Western Kentucky, TCAT, and Aveda.
Junior ACT Testing. All juniors will take the ACT test on March 19, 2024. ACT is an achievement test that assesses students’ academic readiness for college. ACT participation is a WCS graduation requirement. Visit TDOE's College Readiness Testing website for more information. Scores are typically available online through ACT two to four weeks after testing. Other reports are released soon after. Results are not used for grades.
Student Parking. Students have reserved parking this year. Parking permits will be assigned to specific parking lots. All students must have attended CheckPoints training to receive a parking pass. If you did not attend a CheckPoints training session this summer, you may attend a session in the cafeteria. All students must attend with a parent/guardian. See CheckPoints schedule below.
In the Google form students have the opportunity to select their first two (2) choices of lots. FHS tries to accommodate each student with their first or second choice, but there is no guarantee. Student parking lot assignments will be first come, first served, so if both lots are full at the time of payment by the student, FHS reserves the right to select the next available lot and assign it to the student.
Please remember that all students must pay for their parking pass before completing the Google form. Students must use their wcs.myplace account to access the form.
If you are a new senior to FHS and do not have access to your myplace account, contact Krista Ruth.
Athletic Event Tickets. Purchase tickets for all home games from GoFan.co
