Schools Host Back to School Nights

Schools around the county celebrated the end of summer and the start of the school year with back-to-school nights.

Families had the opportunity to drop off supplies, meet their child's teacher, buy spirit wear and more.

"The Back to School Picnic is a great event where parents and students meet their teachers and new friends who will be in their classes," said Pearre Creek Elementary Principal Janet Alexandrow. "Teachers enjoy the opportunity to engage in positive conversations with parents and students in a relaxed environment. Anytime our families can be on campus, it contributes to a stronger sense of community."
