Meet the District's Good News Ambassadors

The WCS Good News Ambassadors (GNA) are on a mission to showcase each and every school in the district.

Each school has a GNA who serves as the liaison between the school building and the Communications Department. They share information about activities in their school and photos for social media, WCS websites and the InFocus newsletter. GNAs also record clips for School Snapshots throughout the year.

"Our GNAs take on this role because they love their schools," said WCS Executive Director of Communications Carol Birdsong. "We wouldn't be able to showcase our district in the way that we do without their help. We appreciate them and their hard work so much."

At a training in August, GNAs learn photo and video-taking tips, proper media protocol and more.
