The Third Annual WCS Mini Golf Tournament took place September 19 at SOAR Adventure Tower in Franklin. This event serves as the official kickoff for the Coordinated School Health's mini golf program which rewards elementary students who earn good grades with a free round of mini golf. To redeem the round, students can bring proof of the "A", "3" or "S" on a print-out to SOAR Adventure Tower in Franklin. Students must have an adult with them to play, but adults are not required to play themselves.

Every elementary school participated in this year's event, and for the first time ever, two schools tied for first place. To determine a champion, a "putt off" was held, and after five holes, Sunset Elementary walked away with the championship trophy.
