The Wild West Book Fair Comes to Hillsboro!
The Book Fair officially opens for purchases on Monday, October 25th and closes on Friday, October 29th at 1:00 PM. ELA classes will visit the library during their regularly-scheduled times for students to view items and make purchases. New this year, parents and students may shop together each morning between 7:45 – 8:30 AM. Parents must park in the HPAC lot and sign- in at the front office if they wish to visit the Book Fair. The Book Fair is not open for parents during the regular school day.
As an added convenience, parents may shop online or set up an eWallet for their student through the Scholastic website. Visit the Scholastic website for more information about online shopping that benefits our school!
We encourage students and staff to join us for spirit days all next week. Scholar Dollars will be given in Homeroom for those students participating in our theme!

Soar into Student Academic Achievement with a Free Game of Mini Golf
Elementary Students who achieve a letter grade of “A” in any one subject on their first grading period on their report card have just earned a free game of mini golf to be redeemed between Friday, 10/22/21 and Sunday, 11/28/21 at SOAR Adventure in Franklin. This is also true for students in Kindergarten and First grade who receive either a “3” or an “S” in any area of their report card. Just take proof of the “A” or “3” or “S” on either a print out or show the cashier the grade in Skyward on your phone and the student will get to play a free game. One parent or guardian must be with the student or group of up to 5 total students. Parents or guardians do not have to play if they do not want to and there is no charge if they do not play. If they want to play they can pay the adult fee and play along with the students.
Third Grade Postcard Challenge
It's that time of year again! The 3rd Grade Postcard Challenge has started! Last year, we received over 125 postcards from all over the country! This year we are again looking for friends and family members to send postcards from all over the country as our third-grade students learn about geography! Last year, the district came out and filmed the students talking about the project and what they learned from it! Check out the video, and help us by sending a postacard!
Postcards can be sent to:
