First graders at Trinity Elementary showcased their creativity during the school's annual balloon parade Friday, November 17.

Students were tasked with creating a balloon float that could be supported on a stick. Cartoon characters, book characters, animals and more made an appearance during the parade.

"We had to make our balloons on something so we could hold them in the air," said TES student Emma Waldron. "I made an ice cream cone because I wanted it to be higher in the air with the cone. I liked cutting out the sprinkles and putting them on my balloon."
