The Page High theater department treated younger students to a special underwater experience.

On Monday, March 4, the Page High Players performed their spring musical, The Little Mermaid, for fourth graders from Trinity Elementary. The elementary students laughed and sang along as Ariel met Prince Eric, defeated Ursula and lived happily ever after.

"I wanted my students to perform for our elementary friends because some of them have never had the opportunity to see a live production," said PHS theater director Michelle Tripp. "This show was special and magical, and I wanted them to know that we do good theater in our WCS theater programs. I have so many talented students on the stage but also so many creative students behind the curtain. The two working together help me produce the caliber of shows we do."

  • For the first time at Sunset Elementary, students are lacing up their skates in PE.
In the class, students are provided with skates, helmets and other safety gear. They will have the opportunity to skate six times over the course of three weeks.
“So far, we have learned how to get up if you fall, how to put on all the gear and how to go forward," said SSES student Patrick Weaver. "I don’t know how to skate, but I bet it is pretty fun once you learn how."
