The Ravenwood High School counseling center is here to assist you with your college and career planning needs. Ravenwood focuses intently on the process of preparing for testing and college applications, getting to know your strengths and creative passions, and encouraging you to expand your academic and extracurricular interests to strengthen your college resume.

Student Information Sheet
Complete the student information sheet. This form must be given to your counselor when you need a recommendation.

Transcript Request
Class of 2017 and earlier and for those needing a paper copy:
If you need your academic transcript sent to colleges/universities, please complete a transcript request.
- Print and complete the form. Make sure to include the address of the recipient.
- Mail or drop off your request to the RHS Counseling Department and enclose the $2.00 processing fee or pay for your transcript with the online payment portal.
- Please allow 5 business days for your request to be processed.
Please note: Test scores are not included with transcripts. Test scores must be sent from the testing agency (ACT/SAT).
Current students and graduates 2018 or later:
You may request your transcript be sent to a university online through the https://www.orderatranscript.com/ntc/order Simply follow the steps to complete your transcript request. (This option is not available for graduates before the Class of 2018).
*Make a note of the tracking number(s) to check on your order status and verify when the receiving institution releases your transcript. Please allow 1-2 weeks for an institution to accept and process your transcript.

College Visits
Seniors are allowed four college visits; juniors are allowed one. Students are responsible for all work missed. College visits will count as an absence and may affect a senior’s final exam exemption status.

Colleges Visiting Ravenwood
During senior and junior lunch, colleges throughout the year will send a representative to answer questions about their school, the programs they offer, and information about financial aid and admittance. This is a great way to expand the college search and to see if a college is the right fit for you.

TN Promise
Seniors may apply for the Tennessee Promise scholarship, which will provide two years of tuition-free attendance at a community or technical college in Tennessee.

FAFSA
The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is a form that must be prepared annually by current and prospective college students (undergraduate and graduate) in the United States to determine their eligibility for student financial aid. The FAFSA opens October 1st and should be completed as soon as possible. Aid is distributed based on financial need and on a first come, first served basis.
