Spring Sports

In most cases, spring athletic teams actually begin practice and conditioning during the summer months before school starts.
The spring athletic season runs from early March through May and forward, depending on tournament schedules.

Track
Expectations
During the season, practice time will be scheduled at least once per week, depending on the schedule of matches and tournaments. During the off season, team members should practice and have individual workouts.

Tennis
Announcements will be made throughout December that Tennis tryouts will be at the end of January. Practices will begin shortly after Tryouts 3-4 times / week. You must be able to keep score, hit correct ground strokes and serve. Matches start in March-April.Contact

Softball
Expectations
During the season, the Lady Cougars will practice at least once per week depending upon the game schedule. Team members are also expected to practice during the offseason and attend practice January-February in preparation for the season.

Softball tryout announcements will appear in the Daily Announcements, or you may contact the coach for further information.

Expectations
Team members will practice at least once per week during the season, depending on when matches are scheduled. During the off season, they will participate in strength and conditioning.

Expectations: Workouts for offseason take place throughout the fall semester–Monday-Thursday after school.
