The 2020-21 school year is underway with students returning to the classroom both in-person and virtually.

While students in third through twelfth grades are participating in remote learning, first and second graders who did not opt for WCS Online arrived on campus August 7 for the first day of school.
Donning face coverings, teachers and administrators welcomed students back to campus for the first time since March.

"All that really matters is that the kids feel safe and are excited to be here," said Nolensville Elementary Principal Amanda Fuller. "We are so excited they're here, and we're ready."

Take a look at some of the photos from the first day, including photos from Allendale, Bethesda, Hunters Bend, Kenrose, Lipscomb, Nolensville, Scales, Thompson’s Station, Walnut Grove and Winstead elementary schools. Thank you to each school’s Good News Ambassador for sharing their photos.
