    Fourth grade students at Heritage Elementary are learning all about paleontology.

    During Heather Cunningham's science class, students learned about the different environmental needs that must occur for a fossil to form. After the video lesson, students layered gravel, sand and dirt over a small figurine to demonstrate how a fossil is made.

    "I learned that fossils help scientists learn more about dinosaurs and other animals," said HES student Adalyn Goldsmith. "I liked making the fossils."
