Students in the WCS Online program are finding ways to display their school spirit despite not being on a school campus.

The students celebrated Spirit Week October 26-30, with themes like crazy hair day, favorite holiday and favorite character dress-days. Spirit Week was organized by WCS Online Academic Deans Holly Coblentz and Erin Caceres, but a Student Advisory Committee will be more involved in the future. The group is made up of an upper and lower classman from each high school, but this year looks a little different because students of all grade levels are in the program.

Members of the Student Advisory Committee are excited about the year they have planned, but they want to keep future events a surprise for their fellow students.

"It's a blast," said Student Advisory Committee member Darsh Khandelwal. "Creating engaging and exciting events for a variety of age levels is an intriguing yet amazing process. From fun meetings to helpful ones and from normal outfits to crazy costumes, the Student Advisory Committee is about to make the year a lot more fun."
