Kindergarten students at Creekside Elementary are creating a buzz.

For the past week, students have been using BeeBots to learn more about programming. Using mats set up in the library, the students give commands to the robot to make it travel to the correct square and tell a story.

"The BeeBot mats are helping the kindergarten students re-tell folktales," said CSES librarian Dea Peach. "Not only are they practicing their literacy skills, they’re also beginning the logical application of commands in coding and programming standards."
