Need help navigating technological issues during remote and online learning? These Tech Tips will include advice about keeping Chromebooks up to date, accessing Zoom classes and more.

This set of tips include several that address troubleshooting Zoom sessions. For secondary students using Schoology, they should go to their Classlink dashboards and open the Zoom app before trying to enter a meeting. Then students may open Schoology. Inside Schoology, students should open the appropriate course and click the Zoom link. If that doesn't work, students should click Zoom Pro on the left side of the screen and then click "Join Meeting."

Some issues with Zoom may also be solved by restarting the Chromebook. Make sure your cookies are deleted to ensure that no old information is causing errors. To delete cookies, open Chrome, click "More Settings" in the top right corner, click "Advanced" at the bottom of the page and select "Clear Browsing Data" in the Privacy and Security section.

To make navigating the district and school websites easier, make sure your bookmarks are updated. If you are having trouble with your Skyward username and password, contact your school.

As a reminder, students should shut down their Chromebooks every night to make sure they stay up-to-date.
