Centennial High PSA Tells Passengers to Buckle Up

A Centennial High media student is using his abilities to spread an important message: buckle up.

CHS student Dyson Campbell’s video was selected by a panel of judges out of several Public Service Announcements (PSAs) created by WCS media programs. Dyson’s video won Centennial High $1,000.

After the district received a AAA Traffic Safety Grant, each high school was given $400 to promote several teen driving safety initiatives. The theme, No Click, No Ride, was chosen due to an increase in injury crashes related to teenage passengers not using their seat belts.

“Dyson is so creative and such a hard worker,” said CHS media teacher Ashley McKinney. “Before he even started this project, I knew it would be great. I was amazed at how he took it to a level I could never have imagined.”
