The Arc Williamson County and Brentwood High Transition II teacher Staci Harris want to support families of students with disabilities by offering some advice and tips for the upcoming school year.

On August 4 at 6:30 p.m., Harris will host a GoToConnect session covering the tools students will be using throughout the year. This will include Schoology, Classlink, Google Classroom and Zoom. Families will have the opportunity to learn how to navigate those tools and how they can support their students.

Parents will also share tips about engaging students during online or remote learning.

The Arc Williamson County empowers people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families to actively participate in the community through advocacy, research, education and quality of life services.

To register for Tuesday's event, email The Arc Williamson County's Sharon Bottorff or call 615-790-5815 ext. 3.
