The annual WCS Recruitment Fair is just weeks away, and it's the one time representatives from each school will be in one place to talk to applicants.

The district will be looking to fill open teaching positions in all areas at the March 6 event. Schools will offer early contracts, including $2,000 bonuses for hard-to-fill positions in math, physics, Spanish, special education and chemistry. Non-hard-to-fill positions will receive a $1,000 signing bonus.

"To meet multiple building principals face-to-face within a short time frame is an opportunity that speaks for itself when it comes to the hiring process," said WCS Recruiter David Harries. "The Recruitment Fair gives applicants that opportunity."

Williamson County Schools provides benefits for its employees as well as professional development opportunities throughout the year.

The fair will take place at the Brentwood schools complex located at 5304 Murray Lane in Brentwood and run from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. It will be held outdoors and adhere to Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), state and local safety guidelines.
