Students around the district are celebrating their love of reading on Read Across America Day.

Read Across America Day is recognized each year around March 2, Dr. Seuss's birthday. With dress-up days, reading breaks and fun activities, students have the opportunity to celebrate all week.

"Reading is so fun because there is adventure," Allendale Elementary fifth grader Allison Travis. "It brings you through different stories. Reading is important because you get to learn while having fun.”
