This year's WCS Recruitment Fair attracted applicants from far and wide and welcomed the largest number of out-of-state attendees in the fair's history.

More than 250 candidates from more than 17 states attended the fair at the Brentwood schools complex March 6. Many of the district's 49 schools were able to fill their openings through early contracts and special job offers.

"This is a testament to how outstanding WCS is," said WCS Recruiter David Harries. "This was the first time we hosted the career fair outside at Brentwood High, and it was a great success."

The district is still looking to hire special education, math and world language teachers. Information about job openings in the district can be found on the WCS Employment page.
