Crockett Elementary students are bringing history to life with their latest social studies project.

Second grade classes created a Living Wax Museum featuring some of history's most famous figures. Students dressed as everyone from Michael Jordan and Tom Brady to Amelia Earhart and Harriet Tubman.

Each student put together a project board about their historical figure. When other classes came by to visit the museum, students were ready to share what they learned.

"I picked Clara Burton," said CES student Savannah Shore. "She founded the Red Cross. I didn't know a lot about her at first, so I enjoyed telling other people about her."
