Applying for college scholarships and financial aid can be difficult. That’s why the Tennessee Student Assistance Corporation (TSAC) is hosting a series of webinars in April that will give high school students the information they need.

Two different webinars are available for students: one aimed at high school seniors and one aimed at juniors and other underclassmen.

During the FAFSA webinars, high school seniors and their families will learn about the Tennessee HOPE Scholarship, which is available to Tennessee high school graduates who earn at least a 21 on the ACT exam or 1060 on the SAT exam, have an overall minimum Grade Point Average (GPA) of 3.0 and are attending an eligible Tennessee public college, university or private college. Seniors will also be given information about what to do after receiving financial aid offers.

The Financial 101 sessions will walk underclassmen through the process of applying for college, scholarships and financial aid.

Both webinars are free to attend. The dates and times of the upcoming sessions are listed below. Students and families may register on the Tennessee Higher Education Commission Website.
