Where can you see Abraham Lincoln, Charlie Chaplin and Blackbeard in the same place? At Winstead Elementary's annual Wax Museum which was held May 12.

Fourth and fifth grade students dressed up as historical figures highlighted in the Who Was...? book series. They lined the halls, filled the gym and gathered in the cafeteria to show off their costumes. As younger students toured the museum, they learned about the history of each individual.

"I like it because we get to dress up and speak to the younger students about who we are and what we did," said WSES fifth grader Madison Morgan. "I picked Rosa Parks because she is really the one I learned about the most. I've seen so many different people, and it's a lot of fun."
