COVID-19 Update - May 17, 2021

Visitors to the district's website can view the latest COVID-19 data by school building. That information is posted on the WCS COVID-19 webpage.

This data is reported on a weekly basis. This week's data is based on numbers reported Monday, May 17, at 11 a.m. Because the 2020-21 school year ends May 21, this is the final week that COVID-19 data will be released.

Below is an update on COVID-19 cases in the WCS community:

• 4 Staff members in Isolation with a confirmed positive case
• 1 Staff members in Quarantine due to exposure to a positive case
• 23 Students in Isolation with a confirmed positive case
• 131 Students in Quarantine due to exposure to a positive case

Students are reminded that washing hands, wearing face masks and social distancing are critical to stopping the spread.
