Williamson County Schools welcomed more than 275 educators to the district during the New Teacher Induction July 28-29.

Educators had the opportunity to hear from district leaders and learn about the vision, mission, culture and values of WCS. They also learned how to better support their students and create positive learning environments. Each new educator has a mentor at their building they can turn to with questions throughout the year.

"It is inspiring to meet the incredibly talented group of educators ready to join this district and feel the energy of new beginnings," said WCS Executive Director of Teaching, Learning and Assessment Laurette Carle. "They will continue to learn about the district and develop their teaching practices through professional development opportunities and through their mentors this year. We are thrilled to welcome them."
