Thousands of WCS teachers are back in the classroom and ready to meet their new students.

Teachers returned to their school sites August 2 where they were welcomed with open arms, fun activities and information for the year.

"The Olympics have nothing on Westwood Elementary," said WES Principal Jill Hunt. "As the teachers entered the building, they took a walk down the All-Star Hallway where each teacher had a poster designed just for them honoring their incredible work. We welcomed our new team members with cards, personalized cups and candy. Then we transitioned to the Learning Commons where we got down to business of reviewing the nuts and bolts of the year. We are so ready."
