Williamson County Schools is resuming the publication of school-specific COVID-19 positive case data each week.

Each Tuesday, the number of positive COVID cases for students and staff will be posted on the WCS website and in the InFocus newsletter. The information on the website will be in alphabetical order by school.

"This information will give our community a weekly snapshot to see the direct impact the COVID-19 variants are having in our schools," said WCS Executive Director of Health and Safety Gary Anderson. "We are confident that by providing this school-specific data we will be able to give information that has a direct impact on our families."

The data below is as of Monday, August 16:

    • 47 staff in isolation with a confirmed positive case
    • 276 students in isolation with a confirmed positive case

Due to the increase in positive COVID reports throughout the district, families are asked to consider keeping students home if they are not feeling well or if anyone in the home is experiencing symptoms consistent with COVID-19. Families may also reference the updated WCS Illness Guidelines.
