Spreading the Good News in Williamson County Schools

  • Published August 24, 2021

There is plenty of good news to share within WCS, and each school’s Good News Ambassador (GNA) helps make that happen during the school year.

The GNAs serve as liaisons between their school building and the WCS Communications Department. They share information, video clips and photos for the InFocus newsletter, social media and WCS websites.

"We could not showcase our students, staff and schools without our Good News Ambassadors," said Executive Director of Communications Carol Birdsong. "They take on this additional responsibility because they love shining the spotlight on the activities and achievements in their buildings. The GNAs are such valuable members of the WCS Communications Team. We are better because of them.”

Each August, the GNAs go through a training session where they learn proper media protocol, photo-taking tips and more.

The district's GNAs are listed below, so be sure to thank them for the dedication they show to their school.
