Kindergarten students at Lipscomb Elementary are seeing something familiar in their latest math lesson.

In kindergarten teacher Jessica Keck's class, her students are learning how to make and recognize patterns. Using buttons, bears and all kinds of shapes, the class worked together to create different combinations.

"You can do so many different ones," said LES student Emma Zinke. "I like patterns a lot because they're fun to make, especially when we use the bears."
