The Ravenwood High school community takes the school’s annual Homecoming Parade seriously, and this year was no exception. Feeder school students, parents and community members were out in force, lining the parade route on October 8 to cheer on and celebrate the Raptors. This year, several students from RHS feeder schools also participated in the parade.

After the festivities during the school day, the Ravenwood High varsity football team defeated Centennial High 52-7.

“The week culminated in a glorious Friday morning with the parade,” said RHS Principal Dr. Pam Vaden. “Hundreds of on-lookers lined the route as the parade passed by Woodland Middle and Crockett Elementary. Kenrose Elementary and Sunset Middle students cheered as the parade made its way onto the RHS campus. For the first time in four years, the seniors won the best float award.”
