What's the best way to celebrate reading? With a parade, of course!

Clovercroft Elementary capped off National Read Across America Week with a Book Character and Vocabulary Parade March 4. Students in kindergarten through second grade dressed up as their favorite storybook characters, and students in third through fifth grade chose a vocabulary word to represent.

"The parade was just a wonderful way to finish a terrific week," said CCES Principal Dr. Elizabeth Vest. "We also had our Family Reading Night last week as well as several spirit days. It was a week-long celebration!"
